Myra's ancestors on the Sauer side are directly from Germany settling in Nevada and on the Edmunds side are from Colonial New England. Her husband and his ancestors are from Czechoslovakia.

Nancy's ancestors on the Johnstone side migrated through Indiana, Illinois, Michigan and Ohio, marrying into German heritage and on the Moffit side are Scotch/Irish and Colonial Dutch of New York and New Jersey who migrated to Kentucky.
