Funeral services for Mrs. Hedwig Guenther, late resident of 625 N. Chestnut, Arlington Heights, were held April 11 at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran church, Arlington Heights, with the Rev. L. V. Stephan officiating. Black’s Memorial home was in charge of arrangements and interment was in Memory Gardens cemetery.
Mrs. Guenther was born April 28, 1869 in Arlington Heights and was confirmed and married in St. Peter church. She died April 8 at her home.
She leaves her husband, William, 4 children, Richard, Des Plaines, Arthur of Elmhurst, Edwin and Mrs. Margaret Tegtmeyer of Arlington Heights; a grandchild, William Tegtmeyer; a brother, Aruthur Weinrich adn a sister Mrs. Elfrieda Krueger.

Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Palatine. He died Tuesday, Dec 27 at St Matthew Lutheran Home. He is survived by his wife Mabel, his sister Margaret Tegtmeyer and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 9:30 until the time of services at 10:30 am Saturday at St Matthew Lutheran Home. Mabel, who was born Oct. 16, 1900, in Clare, Iowa, died Sunday, Dec. 1, 1996, in St. Matthew Home. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Palatine.
She was a former secretary for the railroad. She was a charter member of Faith Lutheran Church, Arlington Heights.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur.
Visitation will be from noon until the time of service Wednesday, at St. Matthew Home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Matthew Home, or Faith Lutheran Church.

Funeral services for Margaret J. Tegtmeyer, 96, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, at the Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave. (Route 176), Libertyville. Born June 12, 1908, in Arlington Heights, she passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2004, at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. Interment will be in Lakeside Cemetery following the services. Margaret was a former resident of Waukegan, living in Libertyville since 1956. She was a former employee of Illinois Bell Telephone Company and a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and St. John's Lutheran Church in Libertyville. Surviving are her son, William "Bill" (Judy) Tegtmeyer of Libertyville; grandchildren, Julie (Michael) Morrison of Rock Island, Jim (Chris) Tegtmeyer of Oregon, Ill., Jill Tegtmeyer of Vernon Hills and Jeff (Elizabeth) Tegtmeyer of Libertyville; and her great-grandchildren, Scott, Leah, Kiley, Hailey, William and Maxwell. She was preceded in death by her husband Otto H. Tegtmeyer in 1975. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, at the funeral home. W. Richard Guenther, 67, died Wednesday in Weiss Memorial Hospital, Chicago. He was born Sept. 24, 1901. Formerly of Des Plaines, he had been living with a brother Arthur at 625 N. Chesnut Ave. in Arlington Heights.
Visitation is today at Lauterburg and Oehler Funeral Home, Arlington Heights, until time of funeral services at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Allen Fedder of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Des Plaines will officate. Interment will be at Ridgewood Cemetery in Des Plaines.
He was the husband of the late Elsie and is survived by a sister, Margaret Tegtmeyer of Mundelein, and another brother, Edwin Guenther of Arlington Heights, an officer of the Arlington Heights police force.

Funeral services for Mrs. Elsie Guenther, 1065 Prairie ave., Des Plaines, who died Monday at St. Francis hospital, Evanston, will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday from the Lauterburg and Oehler chapel to the Immanuel Lutheran church at 3:30 p.m. The Rev. Allan Feddler will officiate at the services. Interment will be in Ridgewood cemetery.
Elsie Guenther, nee Radloff, was born January 15, 1895, in Des Plaines where she has resided her entire life.
She is survived by her husband, Richard; mother, Emma Radloff, and one brother, Edwin J. Radloff, of Arlington Heights.
