The Rev. O. H. Weinrich, beloved husband of Lilly, nee Griebenow; dear father of Myrtha Blume and Wilma. Resting at funeral home, 192 S. York street, Bensenville, until 11 a.m. Sunday, thence to Zion Lutheran church. Churchville, Ill., where service will be held 2:30 p.m. Interment Zion cemetery.

The Rev. Oscar H. Weinrich, 55, pastor of the Zion Lutheran church, Churchville, died Friday, April 20, at the Elmhurst hospital, where he had been the previous two weeks. His death was caused from a cerebral hemorrhage.

He was born in Arlington Heights, July 22, 1889 where he was baptized by the Rev. Roeder and confirmed by Pastor Noack. He attended Concordia College in Milwaukee and Concordia in St. Louis where he graduated in June, 1913. After his ordination for the ministry by Pastor Noack, he was united in marriage with Lily Griebenow of Milwaukee on August 31, 1913. He began his ministry in a church at Janesville, Cal., where he was installed October 5, 1913.

After serving at Janesville for six years he came to Zion Lutheran church, succeeding Pastor Grosse. While here his services at the district synod’s conventions were often requested.

He leaves a widow, Lily, two daughters, one son-in-law, one grandchild, two sisters, three brothers, two brother in law, three sisters in law and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held in Zion church Sunday. Pastor Kupsky preached German, Pastor Lippmann English, while Pastor Rockoff officiated at the altar and the grave. Interment was made in Zion Lutheran cemetery.

Resting at Geils Funeral Home, 180 S. York St., Bensenville, Ill., until 11 a.m. Monday. Lying in state at Zion Lutheran Church, from 12 noon Monday until time of service 1:30 p.m. Interment Zion Cemetery.
