Obituary notes for George William STORK

William G. Stork died very suddenly at his home in Stendal Monday. Mr. Stork was the proprietor of a restaurant and got up as usual Monday morning and went to his place of business. He worked about the place until eleven o’clock he gab an to feel poorly. He went home and his wife called a physician but about fifteen minutes of one o’clock he died. He had been rather indisposed for some weeks, suffering of some sort of throat trouble which he had not been able to locate. He took spells of hoarseness but did not pay much attention. Deceased was a native of Stendal having been born there. He was 42 years and 12 days old. Surviving is the widow and two little boys. He was well known all over southern Pike county, possessing a pleasant disposition and was always kind and considerate of others. He was liked by all who knew him and will be missed in the community. The funeral service was conducted Wednesday at the Union church in Stendal by Rev. Ed. Barrett. The remains were laid to rest in the Barrett cemetery.

Necrology
William Stork, of stencil, aged 40 years, was stricken with congestion of the lungs at 11 o’clock, Monday morning and died at one o’clock in the afternoon, two hours later. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon and interment was made in the Barrett cemetery. The deceased was a brother of Dr. Stork of Stendal and is survived by a widow and two children.
