Thusius, Olive R. age 97, of Spring Park. Preceded in death by husband, E.R. Thusius; parents, sister and grandson-in-law, Vernon Baumann. Survived by daughter, Marci (Rollie) Timm of Excelsior and son, Darwin (Angelika) Thusius of Ashland, OR; grandchildren, Victoria (Mike) White of Batavia, IL and Syndi Baumann of Green Isle, MN; great- grandchildren, Brett (Amanda) Baumann of Cologne and Corby Baumann of New York City; great-grandsons, Basil and August Baumann; special friends, Linda and Anthony; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Funeral service Tuesday, March 21, 2006 at 11 AM, Our Savior Lutheran Church, 23290 Hwy 7, Shorewood (952-474-5181). Visitation also Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment River Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, Batavia, IL. Memorials preferred to Our Savior Lutheran Church or the charity of the donor's choice. SPRING PARK, Minn. – Olive R. Thusius, 97, of Spring Park, Minn., formerly of Batavia, died peacefully Friday, March 17, 2006, in Spring Park. She was united in marriage to the late E.R. Thusius.
She is survived by her daughter, Marci (Rollie) Timm of Excelsior, Minn.; her son, Darwin (Angelika) Thusius of Ashland, Ore.; two grandchildren, Victoria (Mike) White of Batavia and Syndi Baumann of Green Isle, Minn.; four great-grandchildren, Brett (Amanda) Baumann of Cologne, Corby Baumann of New York City, and Basil and August Baumann; special friends Linda and Anthony; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to her parents, Olive is preceded in death by her husband, a sister, and a grandson-in-law, Vernon Baumann.
The funeral will be Tuesday, March 21, in Shorewood, Minn. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 24, at River Hills Memorial Park, Batavia.
