Henry D. Johnson died Nov. 26, 1941 at his home, town of Newfane. He is survived by his wife, Ruth F. of New fane, one son, George W. of New Haven, Conn., also one brother Frank A. Johnson of Lockport. Notice of funeral later.

The funeral of Henry D. Johnson will be held Saturday, Nov. 29, 1941 from the Kennedy funeral home, 122 Walnut street at 1:30 o’clock and 2 o’clock at the Park Avenue Methodist church. Interment will be Glenwood cemetery.

LOCKPORT, Feb. 17 – Cards have been issued announcing the marriage on Tuesday of Henry D. Johnson of Newfane and Mrs. Grace Elizabeth Goss of this city. The wedding took place at Wilson, the Rev. C.F. Haines officiating. Mr. and Mrs. Johnson will live on the Chestnut Grove farm, town of Newfane.

Sanborn
Sanborn. May 16–A quiet wedding was solemnized at the Baptist church Monday afternoon at 2.30 when Mrs. Susan Barber, formerly of this village was united in marriage to H.D. Johnson a Lockport business man. The couple are taking a motor trip to Batavia, Rochester and other places of interest, returning for a reception Friday evening at the home of the bride’s sister, Mrs. W.F. Kirk at Youngstown and Saturday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Burke at Lockport.

The bride was becomingly gowned in navy blue silk with hat to match. They were attended by the bride’s son and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Emmett Barber of North Ridge. The happy couple will be at home on the Mountain road after June 1st.
