Frank Orval Ames
Frank Orval Ames of Carson City, NV, passed away on November 2, 2003. He was born in Elko, NV on September 4, 1935. He graduated from the University of Nevada with a major in accounting, and worked for the State of Nevada for over 25 years. As a teenager, Frank was an outstanding baseball catcher, especially with his American Legion team, and an avid 49er fan.
Frank was preceded in death by his first wife, Sandra, and his parents, Orval and Esther Ames. He is survived by his wife, Marion; 3 children, Michael Ames; Mitchell Ames; and Becky Panter; 3 grandchildren, Ashley Ames; Austin Panter; and Devon Ames; sisters, Doris Joslyn, Donna Richardson; and Evelyn Ames; and several nieces and nephews.
In honor of Frank's request, no memorial service was held.
