Reno Girl Becomes Bride at Recent Rite
Announced recently was the wedding of Miss Jo Ann Zurfluh, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Forest Zurfluh of Reno, and William Warner, son of Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Warner of Mt. Rose, Calif. The ceremony was held at Reno Unity center on Jan. 23, with the Rev. Dr. Robert W. Caswell officiating.
The bride wore a navy blue knit suit with red accessories for the ceremony and her flowers were white gardenias with lilies-of-the-valley. Miss Lois Zurfluh was the maid of honor. She chose a gray suit with yellow accessories and a pink rosebud corsage.
Blaine Henrikson was best man, and the bride was given in marriage by her father.
Mrs. Zurfluh wore for her daughter’s wedding a pale green afternoon dress, while Mrs. Warner wore a black ensemble and each mother had corsage of pink rosebuds.
Mrs. Caswell played appropriate background music during the ceremony, and the altar was decorated with spring flowers.
A buffet supper at the home of Mrs. Erma Burg on Lakeside drive followed the ceremony, and the young couple left immediately for a honeymoon trip to Los Angeles.
Mr. and Mrs. Warner will make their home in Mt. Rose, Calif., where Mr. Warner is attending school. Mrs. Warner is a former student at Reno high school.
