Hiawatha Evangeline Eads Kornmayer
Hiawatha Evangeline Eads Kornmayer, 80, died April 4, 2000, at Manor Care Nursing Center.
A native of Paris, Texas, she was born Jan. 12, 1920, to Timothy and Ethyl Talley (Black) Eads and had lived in Reno for the past 45 years, coming from Loyalton, Calif.
Mrs. Kornmayer was a property manager. She was a past queen of Daughters of the Nile and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and helped to establish BethelI, Nevada for International of Job Daughters.
Husband, Frank Joseph, died in 1993 and sister, Wanda Nixon, died in 1976.
Surviving are son, Frank Joseph III, daughters, Evangeline Harper and Missi Kornmayer and brother Joseph Black, all of Reno; son, Jay Kornmayer of Henderson; sister, Robbie Harritt of Grass Valley, Calif.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Burial is scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday at Masonic Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 437 Stoker Ave., under the direction of Walton Funeral Home, Reno.
