There is a record of a birth of John James Bradley recorded in the December quarter of 1883 in Whitehaven, Cumberland. The 1891 and 1901 censuses in England list John as being born in the Whitehaven area. John immigrated to the United States in 1905. He states he is going to Cheyenne, Wyoming to his uncle Robert W. Bradley.

John has been rather hard to locate in US censuses. He appears with his father and family in 1910 and then was not in Wyoming. I believe that I located him in Oregon, just married to Isabella ______. The 1920 census lists him as born in England in the correct time with parents born in England as well. He is a machinist in this census. He is still in Oregon in 1930 with 2 children, Norman and Ellen. The Social Security Death Index lists John James Bradley as born November 1883 and dying Jan 1975. A John J. Bradley was naturalized in 1912 in Wyoming.
