Mrs. Pearl J. Diehl, 61, Cross St., died early Friday in the South Side hospital, where she had been a patient for eight weeks. Born in Canfield, Nov. 11, 1907,[sic - typo? 1902] she was a daughter of Allen A. and Lulu Spaulding Manchester, and most of her life was spent in the village. She was a member of the Canfield United Presbyterian church and the Ellsworth Extension Club. Surviving are her husband, Hubert Diehl, to whom she was married July 12, 1947; her mother of Canfield; three children by a previous marriage, Mrs. John Craig and William A. Feisley, both of Canfield, and James A. Feisley of West Alexandria, Ohio, and nine grandchildren. Funeral services, conducted by the Rev. Oscar Person, were held Monday afternoon at the church, and interment made in the Ellsworth cemetery.
