Buster Lee King
Buster Lee King, former Nevada teacher, died at his home in Richmond, Calif., Wednesday of an apparent heart attack.

Born 48 years ago in Ravenwood, Mo., Mr. King attend Northwestern Missouri State Teachers College, and was graduated from Eastern Central State College at Ada, Okla. He taught in Carson City in 1946-47, in Fallon, 1947-48; and at Northside Junior High School in Reno, 1948-49. He later was superintendent of schools in BattleMountain.

Mr. King had been a teacher in the Richmond schools for the last seven years.

He was past deputy governor of Lions Club District 4N of Nevada, a member of Churchill Lodge, No. 26, F&AM, a veteran of World War II, a member of the Richmond Education Association and the California Teachers Association.

His widow, Mrs. Aldene King, survives.

Funeral services will be held in the Richmond Funeral Home, 38th Street and MacDonald Avenue today at 11 A.M. under the direction of the Masonic Lodge.

Graveside services will be held in Mountain View Cemetery in Reno Monday at 3 P.M. Rev. Edson Sheppard of Trinity Episcopal Church will officiate.

Miss Aldene Branch Weds Ensign Lee King In East
Miss Aldene Branch, one of Reno’s most charming young women, and Lee King, ensign in the United State navy, were married Jue [sic] 23 at New Haven, Conn., at the navy chapel by the chaplain at the base. The ceremony was witnessed by a few close friends.

The bride was attractive in a smart summer dress of aqua blue crepe with which she wore white accessories and orchids.

Mrs. King is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.F. Branch of Reno and is a graduate of the University of Nevada. She is a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. For several years she has taught home economic at the B.D. Bilinghurst junior high school.

Ensign King is the son of Mr. and Mrs. L.S. King of St. Joseph, Mo. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan. He is now in the navy communications department and he and his bride will reside for the present at Stamford, Conn.

Alden Branch Married Ensign In Connecticut
Miss Aldene Branch, popular Reno teacher, became the bride of Ensign Lee King of the United States navy at the navy chapel in New Haven, Conn., June 23. The base chaplain officiated at the impressive rite, that was witnessed by a few close friends.

The bride wore an afternoon frock of aqua blue crepe with white accessories. She had an orchid corsage.

Mrs. Branch is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.F. Branch of Reno. She attended the local schools and is a graduate of the University of Nevada where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. She has been teaching home economics at B.D. Billinghurst junior high school for the past several years.

Ensign King, who is the son of Mr. and Mrs. L.S. King of St. Joseph, Mo., is a graduate of the University of Michigan. He is in the communications department of the navy. The couple is residing at present at Stamford, Conn.
