Obituary notes for Jack Edward BRODT

Jack E. Brodt, 53, of Saylorsburg, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 21, as a result of a car accident on Kunkletown Road in Saylorsburg. He was the husband of Malinda (Kresge) Brodt. They had been married 25 years.
Born in Easton on Sept. 4, 1954, he was the son of Virginia (Stocker) Brodt of Wind Gap and the late Clymer Brodt.
He graduated in 1972 from Nazareth High School in Nazareth. Jack had worked as a first-class electrician at Buzzi Unicern in Stockertown for the past 34 years. He received the cement worker of the year award. He attended St. Peter's United Methodist Church in Saylorsburg. He was an avid sportsman and loved hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Cherry Valley Rod and Gun Club in Cherry Valley and the East Bath Rod and Gun Club in Bath. He was also a member of the NRA.
In addition to his loving wife, Malinda, and mother, Virginia, he is survived by son Craig Allen Brodt of Amsterdam, N.Y.; daughter Tiffany Lee Brodt of Saylorsburg; brother Michael Brodt of Wind Gap; father-in-law Lowell Kresge of Stroudsburg; brother-in-law Todd Kresge of Stroudsburg; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, at the Donald N. Gower Funeral Home, Route 209, Gilbert, with Pastor KeyOne Yu officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family for Tiffany's
education, c/o Malinda Brodt, RR 7 Box 7606, Saylorsburg, PA.
