Quiet Ceremony Unites Young Couple
Miss Grace Harriet Brockton and Mr. Leland E. Fallon exchanged their marriage vows Saturday morning at eleven o’clock.

The Rev. Brewster Adams read the impressive rite at his Riverside drive home, in the presence of relatives and close friends.

The bride chose for her wedding a smartly fashioned summer ensemble of white crepe, with which she wore matching accessories. Her flowers were orchids.

Miss Bernadine Madsen was the bridesmaid and Mr. Delbert Fallon, brother of the bridegroom, was best man.

Miss Madsen wore powder blue with navy accessories and had a gardenia corsage.

Others witnessing the ceremony were Miss Aldene Branch and Mrs. Delbert Fallon.

Immediately following the ceremony, Mrs. and Mrs. Fallon departed on their wedding trip, which will take them to the Pacific northwest.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. Henry Mitchell Brockton of Santa Rosa, Calif. and her engagement to Mr. Fallon was announced at a beautifully appointed party given on June 8 at the St. Francis hotel in San Francisco. She is a graduate of the Santa Rosa high school and the Santa Rosa junior college and is prominent socially in coast circles.

The bridegroom is the sone [sic] of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ira T. Fallon, prominent Nevada ranchers.

He is a graduate of the University of Nevada with the class of 1939, and his fraternity is Alph Tau Omega. He took an active part in campus affairs and was manager of the University of Nevada Far Western Conference basketball champions. He also was a member of Coffin and Keys and Blue Key. He majored in agriculture and is now connected with the department of the interior. He is a nephew of Mrs. and Mrs. Fred. Branch of Reno and a brother of Mr. Ira Fallon, jr, of Riverside, Calif.

The marriage of this young couple culminates a high school romance.

Following their wedding trip, Mr. and Mrs. Fallon will reside in Reno.

California Girl Wed to L. Fallon
Mis Grace Brockton of Santa Rosa, Cal., and Mrs. Leland Bud Fallon prominent Nevada youth were married yesterday at the home of the Rev. Brewster Adams. Only immediate members of the family and close fiends attended the ceremony.

The bridesmaid was Miss Bernardino Madison of Santa Rosa while Mr. Delbert Fallon brother of the groom was the best man. Mrs. Fallon, the groom’s mother and Miss Aldene Branch were present at the ceremony.

The bride is a native of California and has lived in Santa Rosa for many years. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.M. Brockton.

Mr. Fallon is a graduate of the University of Nevada with the class of 1939. He was affiliated with Alph Tau Omega fraternity and was basketball manager during his junior year. At present he is employed by the grazing service near Winnemucca.

The couple after a honeymoon trip through the Pacific northwest will make their home near Winnemucca.
